We are excited to hire a Senior M&R Digital Experience Product Manager,  who will partner with our Medicare and Retirement business in order to drive key experience improvements that deliver value to our Medicare members.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Understand M&R and Consumer Product business objectives and help translate those objectives into tactical strategies and capabilities that can be executed to deliver value 
  • Demonstrate a solid product mindset using market insights, voice-of-customer, and data to drive fact-based decision-making on go-forward strategies 
  • Define and refine requirements with key partners to ensure we are delivering on the digital capabilities needed to support our business
  • Participate in planning and engage with the engineering teams to define solutions that meet our requirements 
  • Communicate risks, remove barriers, and define go-forward options to proactively address situations that could negatively impact our member experience or delivery of key initiatives
  • Be a relationship leader that brings together key stakeholders that support our E2E member journey; help connect the dots across the organization for a better overall member experience
  • Manage communication of key information: scope, timelines, delivery dates, key changes/decisions, etc. to partners across the organization
  • Ensure collaboration across relevant channels (engineering, marketing, call center, etc.) and business partners – be the connective tissue to help drive the best, most coordinated experiences
  • Aide in discovery and preparation of business case to build and ready an M&R backlog of work for future year with clear value proposition(s)

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of product management experience OR two years of product management + at least two additional years of health insurance experience
  • Experience in business problem translation to end-user need and ability to document for business and technical partners
  • Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams comprising of product managers, project managers, operators, marketers, and engineering
  • Has previously worked or is currently working as a contractor placed at UHG or one of its subsidiaries or affiliates
  • Demonstrated user-centric product development experience with positive impacts to KPIs

  

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using Aha!
  • Experience monitoring and interpreting digital trends
  • Proven interest in digital consumer experience
  • Proven solid communication, written and oral

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
