We are seeking a qualified Pega Developer to design, develop, and deliver software solutions using the Pega PRPC platform. The responsibilities of the Pega Developer include analyzing business requirements, designing Pega PRPC solutions, coding and configuring applications and systems, and testing software applications.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Pega applications using Pega PRPC (version 8.x or later)
- Implement business process solutions and workflows based on business requirements
- Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand and translate requirements into technical designs
- Build and configure Pega applications, including decision rules, data modeling, integration components, and user interfaces
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Pega applications
- Participate in performance tuning and optimization of Pega applications
- Develop reusable components and frameworks to streamline development processes
- Ensure Pega best practices, coding standards, and guardrails are followed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Pega applications with other systems using SOAP/REST APIs, databases, and other enterprise platforms
- Stay updated on the latest Pega trends, features, and certifications
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
- Pega PRPC Development: 4+ years solid hands-on experience with Pega PRPC (version 8.x preferred)
- Certifications: Pega Certified System Architect (CSA) is required. Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) is a plus
- Technical Expertise:
- Experience in configuring case management, data pages, activities, agents, and integrations
- Proficiency in Pega design patterns, frameworks, and guardrails
- Experience with REST/SOAP integrations, databases, and enterprise platforms
- Development Methodologies: Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
- Problem-Solving Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues efficiently
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
