Senior Software Engineering Lead – Java, Javascript, SQL

Primary Responsibilities:

• Drive and deliver platform solutions across several applications within Optum Behavioral Health
• Participation in Design reviews, Test Case reviews, and Production Support readiness reviews for new releases
• Participate in stakeholder discussions (business customers, IT partners) for understanding business needs
• Ensure timely and quality delivery as per release plan
• Participate in meetings/walkthrough session/group meetings to understand business problem/objective of project
• Ensure compliance with organization and project defined standards and processes
• Develops innovative approaches
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of progressive experience in Software Engineering
• 2+ years of experience with unix scripting and unix environments
• 2+ years of experience developing applications in Angular JS (9 & above preferred) including component design and state management for specific use cases
• 2+ years of experience processing data using Kafka streams
• 2+ years of experience designing and implementing RESTful services, GraphQL, PostgreSQL
• 2+ years of Agile delivery experience, 2+ years of experience in building microservices using Spring Boot
• 2+ years of experience working on an agile team
• 2+ years of experience development/ maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• 3+ years of experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases
• Experience with Node JS (Good to have),Cloud exposure with Azure, GCP, AWS for deployment of code
• Development skills in Java/Java scripts, sql (oracle/sql server)
• Proven ability to develop architecture and manage small team

Preferred Qualification:

• 2+ years of experience with Java. Perl
