Optum is seeking a Consumer Insights professional with experience in digital measurement and analytics to join our team. This position will contribute to our Strategic Insights team, which has an increasingly important leadership role in driving growth for UnitedHealth Group and enabling our mission to help people live healthier lives and help the health system work better for everyone.
This role is responsible for driving short- and long-term insights for Optum Rx. The Digital Insights Manager will act as a key partner to digital directors and senior leaders, ensuring expansion and activation of consumer and competitive insights. This role is responsible for communicating insights and bringing best-in-class digital measurement and learning capabilities to Optum.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop relationships with internal stakeholders and build partnerships to execute research plans that effectively address the needs of Optum Rx digital teams
- Lead the design, analysis, and communication of findings for digital experience-based surveys (with emphasis on Task Completion and NPS) across Optum Rx business segments
- Synthesize findings from various sources (quantitative results, trend information, behavioral observations & web analytics) to deliver actionable insights and concisely communicate findings to drive change throughout the organization
- Daily engagement with Digital Product and Consumer Experience teams to review VoC trends and strategize improvements
- Deliver easy to interpret, insightful, strategic and actionable insights
- Consult with internal business partners to ensure the voice-of-the-member is a key driver for business decisions using presentations, workshops, reporting, meeting participation and ad-hoc inquiries
- Effectively present customer stories to wide audiences with a bias towards actionable recommendations
- Enhance and expand current digital insight collection capabilities and execute strategy across Optum, especially Optum Rx
- Respond to requests for ad hoc analysis within short timeframes and an emphasis on exceptional quality
- Foster relationships with external vendors to optimize reporting and other deliverables
- Effectively juggle multiple projects, deliverables, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment while ensuring reporting is accurate and easy to digest
- Contribute to the success of a strong Strategic Insights team as a collaborative team member

Required Qualifications:
- 6+ years leading primary marketing research projects
- 3+ years of experience analyzing digital experience data
- 3+ years of experience working with digital insights
- Intermediate level of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
- Proven ability to drive cross functional efforts through insights and relationship development
- Proven ability to develop and execute digital experience measurement strategy
- Proven to be a self-starter and problem solver with passion for driving action through insight curation
Preferred Qualifications:
- 6+ years working in a professional environment
- 6+ years of experience leading quantitative marketing research
- Experience blending behavioral and perceptional information in digital space
- Healthcare and/or financial experience
- NPS experience
- Experience working in Qualtrics Engage

The salary range for this role is $89,800 to $176,700 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
