Primary Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership & Architecture
    • Provide deep technical guidance on Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), and Marketo, ensuring seamless integration with backend systems
    • Architect and implement real-time, event-driven customer journeys using AJO, leveraging Adobe Experience Data Model (XDM), Experience Event Processing, and Edge Network
    • Design and develop personalized, omnichannel customer engagement workflows using AJO’s decisioning engine, rule-based triggers, and AI-driven recommendations
    • Drive integration between Adobe Experience Platform, Marketo, and microservices built on Spring Boot
    • Ensure high availability and performance of cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP) through scalable architectures, serverless computing, Kubernetes, and cloud-native best practices
  • Engineering Execution & Delivery
    • Oversee the end-to-end development, deployment, and optimization of marketing automation, content management, and customer engagement solutions
    • Lead implementation of Adobe Experience Platform’s data ingestion, identity resolution, and real-time data streaming capabilities
    • Work closely with Marketo automation workflows, ensuring efficient lead scoring, segmentation, and personalized campaign execution
    • Implement best practices for CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, observability, and infrastructure automation
    • Optimize APIs and microservices performance, ensuring seamless data exchange between AEP, AJO, Marketo, and backend services
  • People & Stakeholder Management
    • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning
    • Collaborate with marketing, data engineering, and product teams to deliver solutions that drive customer engagement and retention
    • Communicate technical strategies and updates effectively to senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with 3+ years in a managerial role
  • Hands-on experience with Spring Boot for building scalable, cloud-native microservices
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, observability (Datadog, Splunk, or New Relic), and automation tools 
  • Solid understanding of AJO components such as decisioning, journey orchestration, real-time event ingestion, and personalized content delivery
  • Solid background in identity resolution, customer segmentation, and personalized marketing workflows
  • Deep expertise in Marketo, including their APIs, data models, and automation capabilities
  • Deep expertise in Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO),including their APIs, data models, and automation capabilities
  • Expertise in event-driven architectures, real-time data processing (Kafka, Pub/Sub), and API management 
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including serverless computing, Kubernetes, and security best practices
