Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and resilient web applications using Java and modern JavaScript frameworks (React.js, TypeScript)
  • Lead the front-end and back-end development efforts, ensuring seamless integration and responsive application behavior
  • Implement and maintain containerized applications using Kubernetes, managing deployment, scaling, and networking
  • Employ Git for source control and GitHub Actions for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows
  • Monitor the health of applications, implementing logging and monitoring solutions to preemptively resolve potential issues
  • Analyze existing applications for performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations to enhance user experience
  • Collaborate with project managers, UX/UI designers, and other developers to translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Mentor junior developers, promoting best practices in software development and continuous learning
  • Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies, and assess new tools to enhance development efficiency and product quality
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment).     Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
    • Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with strong command over Java, JavaScript, React.JS, and TypeScript
    • Extensive experience with Kubernetes for orchestration of containerized applications
    • Solid experience in implementing logging, monitoring, and alerting tools
    • Deep understanding of Git for version control and proficiency in automating workflows with GitHub Actions
    • Demonstrated ability in managing and scaling large-scale applications with a focus on optimizing application performance
    • Proven excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
    • Proven solid communication and collaboration skills, with a proven track record of working in agile environments

     

    Preferred Qualifications: 

    • Certifications in Kubernetes, Java, or JavaScript frameworks
    • Experience with additional monitoring solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack
    • Knowledge of additional backend languages or frameworks
