The Inside Sales Insurance Product Advisor plays a key role in achieving departmental sales objectives by guiding individuals to the most suitable health insurance solutions. This high-performing sales position focuses on a balanced mix of inbound and outbound leads to drive sales and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
As one of the most experienced and effective licensed sales agents, the Product Advisor provides expert advice on individual health insurance plans and ancillary products. This role is essential in driving consistent sales performance, maximizing every sales opportunity, and enhancing the customer experience. Product Advisors are expected to quickly adapt to new lead sources and act as trusted experts in the health insurance space.
This position is full-time (40 hours per week) Monday – Saturday, with several shifts available. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. Hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday – Thursday. Friday hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday hours of operation are 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Handle customer inquiries regarding health and ancillary insurance products.

- Follow a proven sales and quality process to assist customers
- Be available to receive inbound phone calls
- Be available to receive inbound prescreened leads transfers
- Build trust and rapport through expert guidance and a customer-first approach
- Provide Quote and enrollment support to new customers
- Recommend the best plan that fits the customer’s needs
- Make outbound follow up calls to new and existing customers
- Follow a proven sales and quality process to assist customers
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics
- Data entry / update CRM with customer data
- Adhere to a daily schedule using IEX (Lunch, Breaks, etc.)
- Adhere to strict quality standards

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- Health and Life license within state of residence or the ability to obtain within 30 days of hire. (This expense will be covered by the company)
- 1+ years of experience in analyzing and problem solving for customers
- Intermediate level of proficiency using computer and Windows PC applications including strong keyboard and navigation skills, and learning new computer programs
- Ability to become broadly licensed & certified across most US states
- Ability to become broadly appointed across multiple insurance carriers
- Ability to work regularly scheduled shifts within our hours of operation, including the training period and successfully complete the training program including demonstrating proficiency of all material
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years sales experience with documented success
- Spanish Proficiency

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $24.04 per hour based on full-time employment. This role is also eligible to receive bonuses based on sales performance. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
