Primary Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management
    • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and professional development
    • Project Management: Oversee multiple projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget
    • Strategic Planning: Develop long-term strategies for the engineering team to align with the company’s objectives and goals
    • Resource Allocation: Allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines while maintaining high quality
    • Technical Oversight
    • Architecture Design: Oversee the design and architecture of software solutions, ensuring they meet scalability, reliability, and performance requirements
    • Technology Stack: Make decisions regarding the technology stack (.Net for backend services)
  • Product Roadmap:
    • Collaborate with product managers to define the product roadmap and ensure alignment with business objectives
    • Feature Development: Oversee the development of new features from concept through implementation
    • Quality Assurance: Implement best practices for code quality assurance including automated testing, code reviews, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)
    • Collaboration
    • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as Product Management, Data Science, QA/QC teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and functionalities
    • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate progress updates to stakeholders including executive leadership and clients
  • Innovation and Improvement
    • Process Improvement: Continuously seek ways to improve engineering processes to increase efficiency and productivity
    • Technical Innovation: Stay updated with emerging technologies in .Net, React
    • Data Strategy Development: Develop strategies for leveraging data analytics to drive business insights
    • Data Integrity & Security: Ensure that all data handling complies with security standards/regulations (such as GDPR) while maintaining high levels of data integrity
  • Performance Monitoring
    • Performance Metrics Monitor performance metrics related to both team output (velocity) as well as system performance (uptime/downtime)
  • Issue Resolution:
    • Actively manage any technical issues that arise in production environments ensuring swift resolution with minimal impact on customers
    • These responsibilities collectively ensure that the Senior Manager not only leads their team effectively but also drives the development of high-quality software products tailored for advanced data analytics needs using modern technologies like .Net and React
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Professional Experience: 15+ years of experience in software development with a significant portion of that time spent in leadership roles
  • Cloud Services: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform 
  • Management Experience: Proven experience managing and leading software engineering teams
  • Architectural Knowledge: Expertise in designing scalable and high-performance architectures
  • Database Management: Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, MongoDB)
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Extensive experience with .Net framework (C#) for backend development
    • Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with data pipeline technologies
    • Software Development Lifecycle: In-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including Agile methodologies
  • Domain Knowledge:
    • Familiarity with data analytics concepts and tools like Power BI or Tableau 
    • Product development focused on Data Analytics
  • Continuous Learning & Adaptability
  • Leadership Abilities: Proven solid leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
  • Project Management: Proven excellent project management skills including planning, resource allocation, risk management, and performance tracking
  • Communication Skills: Proven superior verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Proven solid analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field
  • Exposure in US Healthcare System
