We are seeking a highly skilled AI/ML Engineer with solid expertise in chatbot and voice bot development to design, build, and deploy intelligent conversational AI solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS AI services, especially Amazon Lex, Amazon Bedrock, and related NLP/LLM technologies, and will play a key role in delivering scalable, production-grade conversational systems.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy chatbots and voice bots using Amazon Lex (V1/V2)
- Build and integrate LLM-powered applications using Amazon Bedrock (Claude, Titan, etc.)
- Implement natural language understanding (NLU), intent classification, entity extraction, and dialogue management
- Develop backend services to integrate bots with APIs, databases, CRMs, and third-party systems
- Optimize conversational flows for accuracy, latency, and user experience
- Implement prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and context management
- Monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve bot performance using analytics and logs
- Ensure security, scalability, and reliability of AI solutions on AWS
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and DevOps teams
- Document system designs, workflows, and best practices
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Core AI/ML and NLP Skills
- Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and generative AI use cases
- Solid understanding of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and NLP concepts
- Knowledge of intent classification, entity recognition, dialogue systems, and speech-to-text or text-to-speech
- AWS and Cloud Technologies
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Lex (Chat and Voice Bots)
- Experience using Amazon Bedrock for generative AI applications
- Familiarity with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch
- Understanding of IAM, security best practices, and cloud architecture
- Programming and Frameworks
- Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and backend integration
- Experience with RAG pipelines, vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, OpenSearch, etc.)
- Familiarity with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face
- Proficiency in Python (preferred) or JavaScript or TypeScript
- Voice and Conversational AI
- Experience with speech recognition (ASR) and text-to-speech (TTS) systems
- Knowledge of IVR systems and telephony integrations (Amazon Connect preferred)
- Solid understanding of conversational UX design
- DevOps and MLOps
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and containerization
- Familiarity with model deployment, monitoring, and versioning
- Knowledge of logging, testing, and performance optimization
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a related technical field
- AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Machine Learning Specialty)
- Experience with Amazon Connect for contact center solutions
- Experience in enterprise-scale or customer-facing AI systems
- Knowledge of LangChain or similar LLM orchestration frameworks
- Exposure to multi-lingual chatbot development
