Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manual Testing – for business transformation roles, data pipeline testing, data equivalency, data loads, performance loads
  • AI Driven Quality Engineering
    • Utilize AI/ML models for test case prioritization, risk based testing, and predictive defect analysis
    • Implement self healing automation using AI to reduce script failures and improve stability
    • Apply AI tools for intelligent test execution, optimization, and anomaly detection
  • Healthcare Domain-Specific Testing
    • Validate workflows, rules, and data accuracy across healthcare businesses such as MA, ACA, Medicaid, Claims, Provider, Eligibility, and Clinical Data
    • Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA, PHI handling standards, and healthcare regulatory requirements
    • Verify healthcare coding structures (ICD, CPT, HCPCS), benefit rules, member/provider data integrity, and interoperability (FHIR, HL7) where applicable
    • Partner with product owners to interpret healthcare business logic, coverage rules, and quality metrics accurately
  • Test Data Engineering & AI Generated Data
    • Generate synthetic test data using AI while ensuring HIPAA compliant anonymization
    • Automate creation of test datasets to simulate real world healthcare scenarios (claims processing, enrollment updates, authorization workflows, etc.)
    • Validate large-scale healthcare datasets for accuracy, consistency, and business rule adherence
  • Quality Monitoring & Production Intelligence
    • Implement monitoring solutions leveraging AI to detect unusual trends in application performance or healthcare data processing
    • Analyze logs, claims patterns, or workflow failures to identify systemic issues impacting member or provider experience
  • Collaboration Across Engineering & Healthcare Operations
    • Work closely with engineering, data, product, and clinical/business teams to ensure solutions meet functional and regulatory expectations
    • Provide insights based on test analytics to improve healthcare product quality and process efficiency
  • Documentation & Reporting
    • Maintain thorough documentation for frameworks, test cases, automation processes, and healthcare validation rules
    • Build intelligent dashboards showcasing test coverage, defect trends, automation ROI, and healthcare-specific quality KPIs
  • Continuous Improvement & Innovation
    • Evaluate emerging AI, automation, and healthcare QA tools to increase test effectiveness and reduce manual effort
    • Drive innovation initiatives to modernize quality engineering, especially in healthcare workflows, data pipelines, and compliance validation
  • Automated Testing Framework & Script Development – Good to have
    • Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks for UI, API, data, and workflow validation
    • Develop scalable and reusable test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Katalon, or similar
    • Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and rapid releases

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree or equivalent experience
  • Technical Qualifications:
    • 3+ years of QA Automation experience with strong hands on skills in Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Katalon, or similar tools
    • Experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks (Hybrid, BDD, Data Driven, POM)
    • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab)
    • Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#
    • Working knowledge of cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP), especially for test automation and environment validation
    • Solid knowledge of API testing using Postman, RestAssured, Karate, or similar
    • Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts applied to testing-test optimization, risk prediction, self healing automation, or synthetic data generation
  • Healthcare Domain Qualifications
    • Experience with healthcare coding standards such as ICD 10, CPT, HCPCS, and benefit rules
    • Exposure to FHIR, HL7, interoperability standards, and healthcare data validation practices
    • Familiarity with healthcare payer ecosystems: MA (Medicare Advantage), Medicaid, ACA, Commercial lines
    • Understanding of claims workflows including adjudication, pricing, EOB/EOP, and encounter processing
    • Knowledge of provider, member, eligibility, and enrollment data
    • Working knowledge of HIPAA, PHI privacy, and compliance guidelines
  • AI & Data Qualifications
    • Ability to apply AI/ML for:
    • Predictive test selection
    • Anomaly detection
    • Intelligent defect analysis
    • Synthetic test data generation
    • Understanding of data pipelines, ETL validation, and large-scale healthcare datasets
  • Quality Engineering & Soft Skills
    • Experience collaborating with cross functional teams including developers, architects, product owners, and healthcare operations
    • Excellent understanding of QA processes, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies
    • Proven ability to write strong test plans, test cases, and automation scripts with minimal guidance
    • Proven solid analytical and problem solving skills, especially in identifying gaps and optimizing test coverage
    • Proven solid communication skills, especially when interpreting complex healthcare business rules

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as:
    • ISTQB
    • Certified SDET
    • AI/ML Foundations
    • Azure or AWS Cloud Practitioner
    • Healthcare certifications (AHIP, CPC, CPMA)
  • Experience in enterprise modernization or cloud migration projects
  • Experience with performance testing (JMeter, k6, LoadRunner) 
  • Exposure to DevOps, monitoring, and observability tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, App Insights)
  • Experience with AI based automation tools (e.g., Testim, Mabl, Functionize, Appvance IQ)
  • Experience with Python AI libraries (NumPy, Pandas, scikit learn, TensorFlow, etc.)
