As a full time, exempt 24 month, PGY-1, PGY-2 Pharmacy Resident with Masters at CPS Solutions, LLC, you will have the opportunity to earn a Masters of Science degree in Health-System Pharmacy Administration from The Ohio State University. This residency in Specialty Pharmacy Administration and Leadership is created to focus on developing leadership and management skills through practical specialty pharmacy experiences. CPS creates an environment of professional growth and creates a foundation for the development of leadership skills that will prepare the resident to assume leadership in a health-system specialty pharmacy. The PGY1 focuses on the clinical aspect to health-system specialty pharmacy. The PGY2 will be dedicated to the resident completing leadership and management learning experiences. Specific areas may include, but are not limited to operations, finance, informatics, inventory, human resources, regulatory compliance, and additional elective opportunities.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Identify, prevent, assess, and resolve medication-related problems to ensure a safe and optimal patient outcome
- Promote, through criteria-based protocols, clinically rational drug therapy and sound pharmaceutical care

Required Qualifications:
- Selected for Summa PGY-1 Residency Program through the ASHP Residency Match Program
Able to obtain a State of Ohio Pharmacist license during the residency program
Preferred Qualifications:
- Thorough knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations governing pharmacy services
- Proficient in the use and application of new medications and technology
- Knowledge of pathophysiology, interpretation of diagnostic criteria, pharmacokinetics and pharmacotherapeutics
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively participate on an interdisciplinary team or committee
- Problem solving ability and analytical thinking
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $55,000 to $85,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
