The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering safe and professional IV therapy for patients on specialty medications that treat neurological, rheumatologic, gastroenterological, and immunological disorders. This role will be highly involved in helping to implementing and support best clinical practices for our clinic, patients, and referral sources.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Provides direct patient care in the form of evaluating and documenting patient clinical assessments and IV therapy as aligned with company, federal and state policies for both pediatric and adult patients
- Prepares/compounds sterile admixtures for immediate use per FDA package insert and FlexCare clinical protocol
- Communicates with physicians and other health care providers on clinical services related issues
- Administers necessary medications as necessary to mitigate acute infusion reactions, under the supervision of the infusion center Managing Nurse Practitioner
- Administers prescribed intravenous and subcutaneous medications and biologics, adhering to prescriber order and applicable FDA dosing parameters
- Evaluates the effectiveness of the health care process (self, systems, environment, and instrumentation) in meeting clinical outcomes
- Demonstrates awareness of legal issues in all aspects of patient care and clinical operations functioning
- Provides infusion therapy under the scope of FlexCare policies, procedures and clinical drug protocols to ensure coordination and safe delivery of care
- Assists the clinical team in the entry, review and validation of prescriber orders received by faxed referral or verbal order
- Assists in the review of lab work drawn onsite, and the reporting of any critical values to the referring provider
- Assists in the ongoing review of clinical protocols for all infusible/injectables provided by FlexCare to maintain clinical competency
- Assures that all patient related documentation, and clinical reports are accurately completed, submitted and/or filed in a timely manner, according to internal and external regulatory requirements and in support of the billing process
- Participates in department Quality Assurance activities as requested

Work Environment:
- This job operates in a medical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office and medical equipment such as computers, printers, fax machines, phones, copiers, infusion pumps, IVs, Etc.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
- This role may be full-time, part-time, or PRN. Typical working hours are determined by each location, though shifts and hours may vary based on business needs. All employees, regardless of status, may be required to adjust schedules as necessary to meet operational demands. Exempt employees should have the flexibility to be on-call and available, as needed, to ensure continuity of care and support.

Required Qualifications:
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Unrestricted RN license in the state of employment
- BLS/ CPR required upon hire
- ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy Administration Certification, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire for full time hires
- 3+ years Infusion Therapy with experience in the management of patients on specialty medications (i.e, Immunoglobulin, biologics); solid IV access skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Infusion therapy experience
- Ability to accomplish any and all duties with little to no assistance
- Unrestricted motor vehicle license
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $60,200 to $107,400 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
