As an AI/ML Engineer (AI Builder), you will design, develop, and operationalize scalable AI-powered solutions that solve complex enterprise problems, with a strong focus on production-grade systems, responsible AI, and measurable business impact.

You will collaborate with data engineering, product, and platform teams to build intelligent systems leveraging machine learning, GenAI, and advanced analytics, ensuring reliability, governance, and performance at scale.

Primary Responsibilities:

• AI Solution Design & Development
  • Design, build, and deploy end-to-end AI/ML solutions (including GenAI, NLP, predictive models, and intelligent agents)
  • Translate business problems into scalable AI architectures and production-ready pipelines
  • Develop reusable AI frameworks, components, and accelerators for enterprise adoption
  • Apply statistical modelling, machine learning, and deep learning techniques to real-world use cases
• Productionization & MLOps
  • Operationalize models into production using CI/CD, monitoring, and lifecycle management
  • Ensure model scalability, performance, and reliability across distributed environments
  • Design and implement automated pipelines for training, validation, and deployment
  • Build observability frameworks for model drift, bias detection, and performance tracking
• AI Engineering & Platform Integration
  • Work with large-scale data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, cloud ecosystems) for model integration
  • Build and optimize inference pipelines, APIs, and agent orchestration frameworks
  • Integrate AI capabilities into enterprise systems (Command Center, ingestion pipelines, etc.)
  • Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools to automate workflows and improve productivity
• Responsible AI & Governance
  • Embed fairness, transparency, and accountability across the AI lifecycle
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise AI governance frameworks (AIRB, data privacy, security)
  • Perform risk assessments, validation, and explainability analysis for deployed models
• Innovation & Continuous Improvement
  • Evaluate emerging AI/ML technologies (GenAI, LLMs, agents) and drive adoption
  • Lead PoCs and innovation initiatives aligned to enterprise strategy
  • Drive automation opportunities to improve engineering efficiency and reduce costs
• Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication
  • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to align AI solutions with outcomes
  • Communicate complex AI concepts, results, and trade-offs clearly to leadership
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to AI capability building within the team

Required Qualifications:

• Solid experience in AI/ML engineering, including model development and deployment
• Hands-on expertise in Python, ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
• Experience with NLP/GenAI (LLMs, prompt engineering, embeddings, agents)
• Experience in MLOps practices (CI/CD, model monitoring, versioning)
• Expertise in data engineering integration (SQL, Snowflake, distributed systems)
• Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and optimisation techniques
• Proven ability to deliver production-grade AI solutions with measurable impact

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience building enterprise AI agents or LLM-powered systems
• Experience with cloud AI platforms (Azure AI, AWS SageMaker, etc.)
• Experience leading PoCs and innovation initiatives
• Exposure to governance frameworks and Responsible AI practices
• Knowledge of healthcare data standards (FHIR, CCD) - relevant to your org context
