Associate Quality Engineering - Playwright, SQL, Azure

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases based on functional and technical requirements
• Participate in requirement analysis, identifying test scenarios, test data, and edge cases early in the SDLC
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and smoke testing across applications
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps)
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA members to resolve issues
• Contribute to test planning, test strategy discussions, and continuous quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain and update test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test execution reports
• Support CI/CD pipelines by validating builds and ensuring release quality
• Participate in peer reviews for test cases and automation scripts
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, processes, and best practices

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing
• Hands‑on experience with manual testing and exposure to test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and basic CI/CD concepts
• Solid understanding of software testing fundamentals, SDLC, and STLC
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or REST clients
• Proven solid analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
• Proven ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative team environment
• Proven attention to detail with a solid commitment to delivering high‑quality software
