Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data warehouses, structures, and architectures to support business analytics and decision-making
- Develop, optimize, and maintain complex T-SQL code, including advanced stored procedures, functions, triggers, and complex queries (such as CTEs, joins, and window functions)
- Conduct comprehensive query optimization and execution plan analysis to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks
- Design and implement robust, scalable data models and overall data architecture aligning with business requirements
- Use enterprise-approved AI tools to streamline workflows, automate repetitive data engineering tasks, and drive continuous improvement
- Evaluate emerging trends in data engineering and database technologies to inform solution design and strategic innovation
- Maintain high standards of data governance, security, and quality across all data pipelines and storage solutions
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or 4+ years of equivalent professional technology experience
- 6+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, and designing data architectures.
- 6+ years of experience with Advanced T-SQL Programming, including writing complex queries (Joins, CTEs, Window Functions), stored procedures, functions, and triggers
- 6+ years of experience with database query optimization and analyzing SQL execution plans to improve query and system performance
- 6+ years of experience in both dimensional and relational data modeling
- Experience utilizing advanced productivity or automation tools (such as enterprise-approved AI assistants) to accelerate development and optimize daily workflows
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools
- Experience or familiarity with Machine Learning (ML) concepts and models
- Experience with Python programming for data manipulation or ETL pipelines
- Experience in IT Asset Management (ITAM) or closely related business domains
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to new and emerging technologies to optimize daily development tasks
