Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise data architectures across all phases of the software development lifecycle
  • Translate business requirements into logical and physical data designs, architecture diagrams, and design documents
  • Architect and guide development of Databricks‑based data platforms supporting analytics and reporting use cases
  • Provide technical leadership and governance across multiple data engineering initiatives
  • Partner with business, product, and analytics teams to ensure data platforms meet reporting and decision‑support needs
  • Ensure adherence to agile delivery processes, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and design reviews
  • Support production environments, including issue triage, root‑cause analysis, and platform stability improvements
  • Mentor and guide data engineers, promoting best practices in data engineering and architecture
  • Operate effectively in a flexible working model, including support across global time zones when required
  • Own architecture decisions for data platforms and reporting solutions
  • Influence technology direction and standards across teams
  • Balance scalability, cost, performance, and data accuracy in architectural choices
  • Act as a trusted advisor to engineering leadership and business stakeholders
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Architecture roles
  • Proven experience in designing and building large‑scale data applications
  • Proven solid ability to interact with business stakeholders and convert requirements into technical designs
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills
  • Proven solid written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
  • Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with cross‑functional teams
  • Technical Skills
    • Experience with any enterprise databases (relational or NoSQL)
    • Solid understanding of data pipelines, batch processing, and reporting data preparation
    • Databricks (data processing, transformations, analytics workloads)
    • Azure Data Factory (ADF) for orchestration and data integration
    • PySpark for large‑scale data processing
    • Proven excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Snowflake
  • Experience with DataStage or SSIS
  • Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure
  • Healthcare domain knowledge
  • Exposure to AI tools, accelerators, or data modernization initiatives
