As a Product Manager / Product Owner, you are accountable for the end-to-end stewardship of technical products. This role blends traditional Product Management responsibilities-vision, strategy, stakeholder alignment, and lifecycle ownership, with Product Owner responsibilities-day-to-day engagement with engineering, backlog ownership, and delivery execution.

Because our products are internal, technical platforms and capabilities, this role requires familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC). You are expected to understand modern development practices, tooling, and technical concepts well enough to effectively partner with engineers, evaluate tradeoffs, and translate business intent into technically sound solutions.

Success in this role requires operating fluidly across delivery models (Agile, hybrid, or non-Agile) and adapting your approach based on team maturity and organizational needs. Regardless of methodology, you are responsible for ensuring products are well-defined, well-valued, and well-built.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy & Lifecycle Ownership (Product Manager)
    • Own the full product lifecycle from ideation through delivery, evolution, and eventual sunsetting
    • Partner with portfolio managers, business sponsors, and stakeholders to obtain Voice of Customer (VOC) insights and translate them into product capabilities
    • Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and portfolio direction
    • Create and articulate a clear value proposition, supported by internal marketing and communication materials to promote product adoption and understanding
    • Ensure product strategy, roadmap, and execution are directly tied to OKRs and measurable outcomes
    • Manage complex requirements and refine product direction based on evolving business needs, constraints, and dependencies
  • Delivery & Execution (Product Owner)
    • Maximize the value delivered by engineering teams by owning and prioritizing the product backlog
    • Work closely with engineering to define features, write clear requirements and user stories, and ensure shared understanding of priorities and acceptance criteria
    • Partner with teams to plan, sequence, and deliver work effectively, adapting to Agile, hybrid, or non-Agile delivery models as needed
    • Ensure features and stories align with roadmap priorities and broader portfolio dependencies
    • Support user experience and user interface direction, where applicable, to ensure usable and effective technical solutions
  • Stakeholder & Portfolio Collaboration
    • Act as a bridge between business needs and technical delivery, translating strategy into executable work
    • Collaborate across product lines and portfolios to manage dependencies, reduce duplication, and enable coordinated delivery
    • Influence up, down, and across the organization-communicating effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional partners
    • Negotiate and drive win-win solutions across teams, applications, and lines of business
    • Advocate for product management best practices and serve as an influential voice in shaping product strategy and execution
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Solid understanding of lean product management principles, frameworks, and best practices
  • Proven experience managing products across a portfolio, including cross-product and cross-team dependencies
  • Demonstrated ability to:
    • Align roadmaps across portfolios and product lines
    • Influence multi-portfolio strategy and delivery outcomes
    • Communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders up to senior leadership
    • Ensure execution against strategy, roadmap, and OKRs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Software development background
  • Working knowledge of development workflows, version control, CI/CD, testing practices, and common software architecture patterns
  • Familiarity with public cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • AI mindset and ability to integrates AI tools into daily work to accelerate delivery and enhance productivity
