Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and develop AI-enabled test automation frameworks using AccelQ
• Perform hands-on functional testing, including system, integration, and regression testing
• Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps/Jenkins)
• Build reusable automation frameworks and test capabilities
• Work in Agile environments using tools such as Rally and Jira to manage test cases, execution, and defect tracking
• Participate in requirement gathering and clarification sessions with business stakeholders to understand system enhancements and changes
• Collaborate with development teams for defect triage, walkthroughs, and seamless release handovers
• Design, execute, and validate REST API test scenarios, including request/response validation, authentication, schema validation, error handling, and negative testing
• Conduct API testing using Postman, Insomnia, and Rest Assured to validate integrations, backend functionality, and data accuracy
• Write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity, transformations, source-to-target mappings, and backend processing
• Analyze database results and application logs to identify root causes, integration failures, and functional defects
• Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify testing gaps, assess risks, and improve test coverage
• Validate end-user workflows for usability, navigation, functional accuracy, error handling, and overall user experience
• Track, document, and communicate quality metrics to support Go/No-Go release decisions
• Mentor and guide junior QA team members on testing best practices, tools, and frameworks while ensuring timely project delivery
• Adapt to evolving methodologies, platforms, and frameworks to support changing business needs
• Contribute to test strategy development, risk assessment, and continuous quality improvement initiatives
• AI Responsibilities
  • Utilize GenAI tools such as Copilot and Gemini AI to improve productivity, accelerate testing activities, and support feature implementation
  • Stay updated on emerging AI trends, tools, and ethical practices in software testing
  • Leverage AI-assisted tools to enhance test case creation, improve test coverage, and reduce manual testing efforts
  • Apply prompt engineering techniques to optimize day-to-day QA activities and workflows

  • Evaluate and adopt AI-enabled testing capabilities to improve efficiency and quality outcomes

• Comply with all applicable Company policies, procedures, and business directives, changes including those relating to work location, team assignments, work schedules, and flexible work arrangements

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate degree or equivalent experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• 7+ years of Quality Assurance experience with strong expertise in manual, API, and database testing
• 3+ years of experience with AccelQ test automation tool
• Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Rally or Jira
• Solid experience in API testing using Postman and Insomnia
• Experience leveraging AccelQ's AI-driven capabilities for test design, self-healing and automated maintenance
• Experience with API automation using Rest Assured
• Knowledge of CI/CD integration with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar platforms
• Expertise in test suite design and test case development
• Demonstrated solid ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and clearly understand business and technical requirements
• Demonstrated solid ownership and accountability in driving tasks to completion, ensuring high-quality deliverables and timely project execution
• Demonstrated ability to mentor team members and ensure timely delivery of projects and tasks
