Primary Responsibilities:

  • Test Automation & Framework Development
    • Design, develop, and maintain automation test suites using Java and AccelQ
    • Implement and enhance UI automation using Selenium
    • Develop reusable automation components, utilities, and test data strategies
    • Ensure automation coverage for functional, regression, and smoke testing
  • API & Backend Validation
    • Automate validation of RESTful APIs and backend services
    • Verify request/response behavior, data integrity, and error handling
    • Collaborate with developers to ensure testability of microservices
  • Cloud & AWS Testing
    • Validate applications deployed on AWS environments
    • Test cloud based integrations, data flows, and deployment configurations
    • Support automation execution in CI/CD pipelines (cloud hosted or containerized setups)
  • CI/CD & Quality Engineering
    • Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines
    • Execute automated test runs and analyze results to identify defects
    • Log, track, and manage defects with clear reproduction steps
    • Participate in code reviews with a quality first mindset
  • Collaboration & Agile Delivery
    • Work closely with Software Engineers, Product Owners, and QE partners
    • Translate requirements and acceptance criteria into automated test scenarios
    • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand ups, retrospectives)

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Solid hands on experience with Java
  • Experience with Selenium for UI automation
  • Expertise in AccelQ test automation platform


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Agile / Scrum environments
  • Experience with REST API testing tools and frameworks
  • Exposure to Docker and containerized test execution
  • Knowledge of performance or security testing fundamentals
