Sr. Software Engineer I - Main frame, Java, Python

Primary Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements to develop database solutions for healthcare and reporting systems 
• Be able to conduct Scrum ceremonies
• Walk-through the technical design document with Business/SME/QA group and support team
• Support QA, UAT and Release phases of the project via defect analysis, change maintenance, etc.
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

• B.E / MCA / B.Tech / MTECH /MS Graduation
• Knowledge of Mainframes (COBOL, JCL ,DB2, CICS, VSAM, REXX, API), SQL 
• Solid understanding of software engineering processes: Design patterns, algorithms, data structures, schemas and queries, system design, unit testing, code reviews, agile and dev-ops
• Proven solid problem solving, analytical skills,

Preferred Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in Mainframe apps
• Knowledge of Java
• Knowledge of Python
• Proven good communication and presentation skills
