Reporting to the Sr Director for Cloud Customer Success Operations (CCSO) within the Enterprise Technology Infrastructure, Platforms & Services Cloud Business Office (ETIPs - CBO), the incumbent Relationship Program Management Leader is a trusted point of contact supporting CIOs via their CIO Delegates/Leads across UnitedHealth Group (UHG), specifically supporting Optum, UHC and Optum Tech LOBs (Lines of Businesses) to aid in helping to champion large-scale enterprise-wise initiatives, facilitate alignment, enhance decision-making and drive continuous improvement.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the voice of the customer 
  • Deliver program orchestration as governance/influence to achieve measurable outcomes
  • Work with other program leaders to drive key initiatives within the Portfolio
  • Experienced leader with program management, financial, operational acumen  
  • Facilitate/lead large cross-team collaboration forums
  • Coordinate C-suite leadership updates across all CIO forums 
  • Translate highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences  
  • Influence senior leadership to adopt new ideas, products, and/or approaches.  
  • Drive solutions to unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business  
  • Facilitate developing innovative solutions to predict emerging customer needs

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in applicable area of expertise or equivalent experience 
  • 8+ years of project/program management experience in a large enterprise environment
  • Ability to be proactive and highly organized
  • Experience with O365 tools (PPT and Excel)
  • Ability to build and manage relationships across a large enterprise  
  • Solid cross functional and enterprise program delivery experience  
  • Proven communication and presentation skills at the C-suite/Sr leadership level
  • Demonstrated solid AI user  

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Cloud Foundations Certification (GCP, AWS or Azure)
  • PMP Certification  
  • Ability to influence decisions from top down and bottom up  
  • Proven solid analytical, problem-solving and systems analysis skills 
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive decisions/forward progress via the CIO Delegates/Leads
  • Demonstrated foundational understanding of cloud technologies & architecture  
  • Stakeholder and change management experience 
  • Demonstrated health care insurance background  
  • Process implementation & re-engineering experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $112,700 to $193,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
