Software engineering is the application of engineering to the design, development, implementation, testing and maintenance of software in a systematic method. The roles in this function will cover all primary development activities across all technological functions that ensure we deliver code with high quality for our applications, products and services and to understand customer needs and to develop product roadmaps.
These roles include, but are not limited to analysis, design, coding, engineering, testing, debugging, standards, methods, tools analysis, documentation, research and development, maintenance, new development, operations and delivery. With every role in the company, each position has a requirement for building quality into every output. This also includes evaluating new tools, new techniques, strategies; Automation of common tasks; build of common utilities to drive organizational efficiency with a passion around technology and solutions and influence of thought and leadership on future capabilities and opportunities to apply technology in new and innovative ways.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary Release Train Engineer (RTE) for the assigned product, accountable for ART level execution, delivery predictability, and continuous improvement
- Partners with Product Management, Engineering Leadership, Architecture, and dependent product teams to align strategy, roadmap, priorities, and delivery commitments across the product ecosystem
- Lead and facilitate SAFe ART level events, including PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, System Demos, Inspect & Adapt workshops, and cross team dependency and risk forums
- Own program level planning, execution tracking, and delivery health, ensuring alignment between business objectives and engineering execution
- Actively identify, manage, and escalate cross team dependencies, risks, and impediments, driving resolution through influence, data, and leadership engagement
- Coach and mentor Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and teams on Lean Agile and SAFe practices, increasing maturity, flow, and delivery discipline
- Drive transparent, executive ready communication of status, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders at multiple levels
- Leverage AI enabled tools (e.g., M365 Copilot) to improve program communication, meeting effectiveness, documentation quality, and reporting efficiency
- Analyze and apply ART, PI, and sprint level metrics to improve predictability, throughput, quality, and value delivery
- Ensure adherence to SDLC, security, compliance, and quality standards while balancing speed and delivery commitments
- Operate as a servant leader and execution driver, combining agile mindset with decisive action and accountability

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience leading complex, large scale software delivery initiatives in agile environments
- Demonstrated experience as a Release Train Engineer, Senior Agile Program Manager, or Senior Scrum Master supporting multiple teams and products
- Deep, hands-on knowledge of SAFe, with experience operating at the ART and program level
- Proven ability to influence and align senior engineering and product leadership without direct authority
- Experience coordinating delivery across onshore and offshore teams, with solid dependency and communication management skills
- Solid understanding of application development, infrastructure, networking, and modern technology concepts
- Proficiency with agile and delivery tools such as Jira, Rally, Smartsheet, and related reporting platforms
- Solid analytical, problem solving, and decision-making capabilities in complex, ambiguous environments
- Demonstrated results driven mindset, with a track record of driving execution, accountability, and outcomes
- Willing and able to travel up to 10%
Preferred Qualifications:
- Agile certifications such as SAFe Agilist (SA), SAFe RTE, Scrum Master (CSM), or equivalent

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $54.18 to $92.88 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
