Primary Responsibilities:
- Frontend and Reporting Engineering
- Design and develop high‑performance clinical insight dashboards and reports using React and Next.js
- Build reusable UI components for operational metrics, reconciliation views, trends, and drill‑downs
- Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and analytics services to surface near‑real‑time insights
- Ensure accessibility, performance optimization, and enterprise UI standards for reporting applications
- Data Platform and Ingestion
- Work extensively with Snowflake to support analytical and reporting workloads
- Design, optimize, and maintain data ingestion pipelines (batch and incremental) feeding clinical insight layers
- Write efficient SQL to support aggregations, metrics, and derived indicators used in reports and dashboards
- Partner with data engineering teams to ensure data quality, lineage, and reconciliation across pipelines
- Metrics, AI and ML Enablement
- Help derive and implement advanced metrics and indicators using AI‑assisted or ML‑driven approaches
- Integrate ML model outputs (scores, predictions, classifications) into reporting and visualization layers
- Collaborate with AI/ML engineers and data scientists to productionize model‑driven insights
- Support explainability, traceability, and auditability of AI‑derived metrics in reporting systems
- Visualization and Analytics Tools
- Build and support analytical views and datasets consumable by Power BI, Apache Superset, or similar BI tools
- Enable consistent metric definitions across UI dashboards and BI platforms
- Support self‑service analytics use cases for business and clinical stakeholders
- Engineering Excellence
- Follow secure coding practices and enterprise standards, especially for PHI/PII‑sensitive clinical data
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and architectural discussions
- Contribute to automation, monitoring, and reliability of reporting and analytics platforms
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, data, AI/ML, and operations teams
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Solid hands‑on experience with React and/or Next.js and should be Java FSE.
- Solid experience working with Snowflake for analytics and reporting workloads
- Experience building or supporting data ingestion / data pipeline solutions
- Experience building data‑driven dashboards or reporting platforms
- Working knowledge of AI/ML concepts, such as model outputs, feature‑based metrics, or inference pipelines
- Proven solid SQL skills for analytical queries and metric derivation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with clinical or healthcare data (FHIR, claims, labs, quality metrics, etc.)
- Experience integrating ML models into production reporting systems
- Familiarity with cloud‑native architectures and secure data access patterns
- Understanding of data governance, lineage, and reconciliation in enterprise data platforms
- Exposure to Power BI, Apache Superset, or similar BI/visualization tools
