Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute performance test scenarios using JMeter, Performance Center, and other relevant tools
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics using Dynatrace, Grafana, Splunk, and other performance monitoring and profiling tools
  • Utilize scripting (Protocols) and programming skills in Java to create and maintain performance test scripts
  • Utilize Mongo DB, Dynatrace, and SQL to perform database tuning and optimization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and document Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) for performance testing
  • Conduct UI, Batch, API performance testing and ensure seamless integration with the overall architecture
  • Utilize Apache Kafka, Azure Event Hubs for performance testing in a distributed environment
  • Apply performance testing methodologies and best practices to identify performance bottlenecks and suggest optimizations
  • Collaborate with the development team to implement performance improvements, including Shift Left Testing
  • Communicate test results, analysis, and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in performance testing, cloud technologies, and architectures

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of overall experience preferably in a software development or IT environment.
  • 4+ years of testing experience
  • 3+ years of experience in performance testing.
  • Solid knowledge of performance testing methodologies, best practices, and performance monitoring and profiling tools
  • Familiarity with UI, Batch & API (JSON) testing, performance tuning, and optimization techniques
  • Understanding of architectural principles and cloud technologies
  • Familiarity with Shift Left Testing and Agile methodologies
  • Proficiency in JMeter, LoadRunner, Performance Center, Grafana, Splunk, Java, Oracle DB, Mongo DB, Dynatrace, scripting (Protocols), cypress, Playwright and SQL
  • Proven excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Proven solid analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks
