Software Engineering Lead - Full Stack Java and Angular

Primary Responsibilities:

• Act as senior developer by providing technical support to team members
• Act as a technical SME for the team, interact with onshore architect, technical leads and business analysts and explains requirements to team members
• Participate in solutioning and development of existing and new features
• Drive technical quality and delivery for a scrum team
• Works on complex user stories
• Proactive for looking at span of ownership and adjacent areas with a start-up mind set, demonstrates thought leadership and looks for value creation opportunities like process optimization, improvement in user experience, reduction in engineering costs, reduction in infra costs, reduction in cycle times, reduction in tech debt etc.
• Advises and supports Engineering Manager and Sr IC for creating case for new found opportunities, and works for funding from business
• Reviews and challenges requirements, wireframes, features etc from point of view of business, user or customer, and suggests meaningful changes resulting in better functional design
• Analyses and investigations
• Provides explanations and interpretations within area of expertise

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience on full stack Java and Angular based development
• Good hands-on experience on Spring Boot applications with high configurability
• Experience in Cloud Computing technologies
• Solid knowledge of Azure Cloud and Kubernetes
• Understanding of functional area and feature
• Good understanding of who are end users, who is customer, understanding of end-user pain points
• Basic understanding of AI and AI enabled development
• Highly proficient in Database and migration of Database over various platforms
• Proven solid object-oriented programming skills
• Proven solid analytical skills and experience on proof-of-concept development
• Proven good on design and application architecture principles and should have good handle on GoF design patterns
• Proven good team player, change/innovation agents and self-starter on different techs
• Proven ready to take up any technical challenges and should be research oriented
• Proven skill relating to Cloud migration for DB (moving away from Oracle)
