Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop scalable solutions for Amazon Connect digital channels (chat, SMS, email, WhatsApp)
• Implementation of GenAI-driven features using Amazon Bedrock, Lex, and SageMaker to enhance customer and agent experiences
• Build and maintain backend services and orchestration workflows using Python, AWS Lambda, Step Functions, and API Gateway
• Collaborate with product managers, solution architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact features
• Develop reusable frameworks and automation tools to accelerate digital migration from Genesys and LivePerson
• Analyzes and investigates
• Provides explanations and interpretations within area of expertise

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on backend development using Python
• Proven experience with AWS services, especially Amazon Connect, Lambda, Step Functions, Bedrock, Lex, and S3
• Hands-on experience in building GenAI or ML-powered applications using AWS or open-source frameworks
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and monitoring tools
• Solid understanding of digital customer engagement platforms and omni-channel architecture
• Proven excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
