We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Full Stack Software Engineer to join our ClinicalPoint team. In this remote-based role, you will accelerate the delivery of complex roadmap initiatives, reduce dependency bottlenecks, and strengthen architectural decision-making to provide long-term technical stability and ownership. Operating as an individual contributor, you will build and maintain high-quality backend services using Java and dynamic frontend applications with the Angular UI framework. Additionally, you will utilize advanced enterprise-approved AI-assisted development tools (such as CoPilot, Codex, and Claude) to maximize development efficiency, lower defect rates, and enhance product reliability. This role is essential for maintaining our product commitments and supporting scalable growth under secure environment contracts.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Use enterprise-approved AI tools to streamline workflows, automate tasks, and drive continuous improvement
  • Evaluate emerging trends to inform solution design and strategic innovation
  • Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions to address complex business challenges with emphasis on responsible use of AIIn-depth knowledge of system programming, Deep understanding of system performance tradeoffs, load balancing, and engineering for high availability
  • Design, build, and maintain robust, high-performance backend systems using Java and SQL databases, primarily PostgreSQL
  • Develop and optimize responsive, modern web applications utilizing the Angular UI framework
  • Establish and enhance automated CI/CD pipelines (via Jenkins or GitHub Actions) and containerization configurations (Docker) to streamline deployments and enhance system reliability
  • Strengthen overall architectural decision-making, providing long-term technical stability and platform ownership
  • Collaborate closely with onshore team members to resolve cross-functional dependencies and support Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) workflows

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience
  • 5+ years of experience with Java backend development
  • 2+ years of experience with the Angular UI framework (or other modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks)
  • 2+ years of experience working with SQL databases, specifically PostgreSQL
  • 2+ years of experience implementing CI/CD pipelines (such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions) and using Docker containerization

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or equivalent technical field
  • Experience with Python programming, specifically for generative or predictive AI integrations
  • Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices and frameworks
  • Strong architectural design and systems engineering expertise
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in clinical or healthcare-focused technology platforms
  • Hands-on experience utilizing enterprise-approved AI-assisted coding tools (such as Claude, Codex, or CoPilot) in a professional development environment

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
