The Area Executive Director is responsible for oversight of assigned region as it relates to implementation and maintenance of administrative practices, agency philosophy, goals, and policies which assure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations; coordination and completion of assigned projects to effectively support the immediate and long range objectives of the company; enhancement of the profitability of assigned agencies; motivation and retention of qualified staff; and assurance of the quality of services delivered. This position also acts as a liaison with management staff and other departments throughout the company.
This Director will travel to agencies in the following states: OH, MI, PA, TN, MO, MN, IL, NC, WV and VA.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversees operational, clinical, quality, financial, and compliance performance for assigned agencies, ensuring adherence to the Care Management Model and all regulatory requirements
- Leads quality improvement and risk management efforts, including QAPI processes, review of trends, complaints, patient satisfaction, and performance improvement initiatives
- Reviews and manages financial performance, budgets, forecasts, metrics, census, and productivity, partnering with divisional leadership to address variances and drive cost‑effective care delivery
- Partners with local leadership and sales to support business development, market growth, and referral relationships, while articulating service lines, competitive advantages, and payer guidelines
- Provides leadership oversight for people operations, including staffing, talent decisions, mentoring, performance management, staff engagement, and ongoing education across assigned agencies
- The Area ED of Operations will not hold any simultaneous/concurrent employment by any other licensed health care/hospice agency (excluding Arkansas and West Virginia)

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of documented experience in discipline, including a minimum of 1+ years of full‑time experience in a hospice, home health, or oncology setting.
Preferred Qualification:
- Licensed Physician, Registered Nurse, or Social Worker currently licensed to practice in the state of employment
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
