Primary Responsibilities:
- Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and periodic review of Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies for OIPTS services and information security systems
- Support the development and deployment of AI-powered solutions and automations to improve resiliency processes, recovery orchestration, reporting, and operational efficiency
- Research and assess emerging AI, automation, and resiliency technologies to identify opportunities for continuous improvement within recovery and business continuity programs.
- Leverage enterprise-approved AI and automation tools to streamline resiliency activities, enhance reporting, reduce manual efforts, and improve recovery planning processes
- Support and coordinate Business Impact Analyses (BIAs), risk assessments, dependency reviews, and resiliency evaluations to identify vulnerabilities, recovery gaps, and potential single points of failure
- Support planning, coordination, execution, and documentation of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery testing, tabletop exercises, simulation exercises, and recovery drills
- Collaborate with technology, infrastructure, application, security, and business teams to incorporate resiliency and recovery requirements into operational processes and technology solutions
- Participate in recovery and resiliency response activities during service disruptions and support escalation, communication, and recovery coordination efforts as required
- Maintain and update resiliency documentation, recovery procedures, frameworks, standards, recovery plans, and supporting program artifacts to align with organizational requirements and industry best practices
- Support maintenance of recovery knowledge repositories and documentation across approved enterprise platforms and tools
- Assist in the development, maintenance, and reporting of resiliency metrics, dashboards, key risk indicators, and program performance measures
- Participate in after-action reviews and support tracking of remediation activities resulting from exercises, audits, incidents, and recovery events
- Support delivery of contractual resiliency service commitments, program milestones, and annual recovery objectives
- Assist in developing and facilitating recovery awareness activities, training sessions, and resiliency program communications
- Analyze information, investigate issues, identify process improvement opportunities, and provide recommendations within area of expertise
- Participate in an on-call rotation and provide support during recovery incidents, exercises, and emergency events, as required
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in information security, disaster recovery, business continuity, business resiliency, technology operations, risk management, or related disciplines
- 2+ years of experience supporting Business Impact Analyses (BIA), risk assessments, recovery planning, or resiliency program activities
- Experience supporting, coordinating, or participating in disaster recovery exercises, tabletop exercises, continuity testing, or recovery validation activities
- Experience with documentation management, reporting, metrics, and process improvement initiatives
- Working knowledge of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery concepts, including Recovery Time Objectives (RTO), Recovery Point Objectives (RPO), and resiliency best practices
- Familiarity with automation technologies, scripting, workflow tools, or approved AI solutions used to improve operational effectiveness
- Proven solid analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certifications such as:
- Associate Business Continuity Professional (ABCP)
- Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP)
- Certified Disaster Recovery Engineer (CDRE)
- CISSP
- CISM
- ITIL Foundation
- Experience supporting enterprise Business Continuity Management (BCM) or Disaster Recovery programs
- Experience with disaster recovery planning tools, resiliency orchestration platforms, governance tools, or mass notification systems
- Familiarity with industry frameworks and standards such as ISO 22301, NIST, COBIT, ITIL, or similar resiliency methodologies
- Familiarity with APIs, automation platforms, dashboards, or AI-enabled solutions that support monitoring, testing, reporting, or recovery workflows
- Proven exposure to cloud-based recovery technologies and hybrid cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or similar platforms)
