The dedicated Health Engagement Coordinator will plan, implement, coordinate and monitor the health management and worksite wellness programs for the employees. The Health Engagement Coordinator will be responsible for conducting employee surveys to identify health needs, designing customized programs to address employee needs and creating communication materials to promote health education programs and activities and developing evaluation tools to measure program outcomes.
The dedicated Health Engagement Coordinator collaborates with the Health Engagement Consultant to develop and implement a multiyear solutions roadmap. This strategy utilizes analytic data to improve employee engagement, affordability and decision making. The Health Engagement Coordinator and Health Engagement Consultant work in tandem to deliver high impact results that incorporates a solutions-oriented engagement process. This position focuses on engagement and consumerism, in conjunction with UHC and Optum products, as well as external vendors.
If you reside within a commutable distance from the Columbia or St Louis, MO area., you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges. Candidates must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time to multiple locations within the Columbia and St Louis, MO area.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Identify employee health promotion needs and development/implementation of health promotion activities
- Design/develop health promotion components for employees to effectively meet health promotion needs
- Monitors and analyzes customer specific health analytic data and develops targeted data driven strategic plans and programs; provides support to clinical programs; may perform clinical assessments, non-invasive biometric screenings and associated health education and counseling
- Serve as point of contact for employee program participants; includes facilitating internal/external communications such as reports and presentations
- Coordinate vendor and partner health management and worksite wellness services for employees
- Implementation and delivery of Health Risk Assessments, Health Screenings, Health Fairs, Web-based Health Management Tools, Disease Management Services and On-site Health Promotion Programs and Activities
- Track individual and group employee meetings in a metric scorecard
- Obtain and review health promotion resources from various sources and/or develop/customize materials, as needed
- Coordinate employee wellness committees and committee meetings

Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in worksite wellness and directly related to specified duties
- Basic knowledge and understanding of current health promotion/health behavior theories, practices, health risk and cost relationships, evaluation methods, policies and trends. Knowledge of health care data
- Demonstrated skill in planning, implementing and coordinating health promotion strategies. Experience with program evaluation, both process and outcomes data
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving and sound decision-making skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Stay abreast of current health promotion, disease prevention, and community development trends for proper delivery
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES)
- Experience developing and facilitating group presentations
- Experience evaluating the effectiveness of implemented programs
Soft Skills:
- Solid relationship management and interpersonal skills
- Solid written/verbal communication and inter-personal skills
- Solid organizational skills and the ability to multi-task

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $72,800 - $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
