Optum Rx PharmScript is one of the nation's leading long-term care pharmacies, partnering with long term and post-acute care facilities to deliver safe, accurate, and timely medications to thousands of residents and patients. We are seeking a Fulfillment Pharmacist Supervisor to join our pharmacist team. This role provides leadership to small- to mid-sized teams of Pharmacists, Technicians, and Clerks within our
fulfillment pharmacy. You will serve as a subject matter expert, ensuring high-quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, and efficient daily operations. The ideal candidate brings strong organization, attention to detail, and demonstrated management experience.

Hours:
- The pharmacy is open 24/7. The schedule will vary based on the need.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Performance Management
- Provide real-time feedback and coaching to team members
- Monitor employee productivity and deliver constructive feedback
- Help staff understand performance expectations and goals
- Conduct quality assurance reviews and annual performance evaluations
- Assist in hiring and onboarding processes
- Create a culture of collaboration, recognition, inclusiveness, and diversity
- Operations & Workflow
- Organize workflow and delegate tasks effectively
- Coordinate task rotation and cross-training
- Schedule work hours and shifts
- Oversee emergency responses (e.g., facility issues, seasonal outbreaks)
- Verify prescription orders as needed
- Initiate, coordinate, and enforce operational policies and procedures
- Lead or support advanced projects as directed by site leadership
- 3. Regulatory & Compliance
Serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge when required

- Collaborate closely with the Pharmacist-in-Charge to ensure compliance with all regulatory, quality, and safety standards

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and/or PharmD from an accredited School of Pharmacy
- Current and unrestricted pharmacist licensure in Maryland
Active, unrestricted pharmacy license in good standing
Proven ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Proven ability to stand up to 8 hours with intermittent breaks
- Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting
- Leadership or supervisory experience
- Experience in performance management and driving results
- Proficiency with computers and pharmacy systems
- Proven solid multitasking and organizational abilities
- Proven excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven background in a production or high-volume environment
Physical Demands and Work Environment

- May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day
- The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, walk, crawl intermittently

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $112,700 to $193,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
