As the Clinical Nurse Manager you will be responsible for the management and oversight of the daily clinical operations in a service line in one or more practice locations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: clinical leadership, clinical operations, patient and employee safety and satisfaction, quality care, fiscal management and personnel management. Serves as a clinical nursing resource and clinical operations partner in the areas of quality improvement, regulatory compliance, safety and professional development for their designated sites/service areas.
Position Details:
- Location: The position includes coverage at both the Concord and Chelmsford sites.
- Department: Pediatrics
- Schedule: Full time, 40HRS Weekly, 5 8 hour shifts between 8am -6PM (variable)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administrative Scope: Less than 0.50 FTE dedicated to administrative duties; oversees daily operations for pediatrics in Concord and Chelmsford with less complex clinical scope
- Clinical & Operational Leadership: Partners with Operations to ensure optimal functioning, respond to urgent issues, and lead quality and safety initiatives
- Practice Improvement: Uses data (e.g., Press Ganey, HOSHIN metrics) to identify and lead improvements in clinical quality and service excellence
- Safety & Compliance: Owns clinical safety responsibilities, addresses safety reports, and ensures regulatory compliance across the service line
- Conflict & Issue Resolution: Manages patient complaints and daily operations concerns.
- Communication & Representation: Communicates key updates to leadership and staff; represents nursing in committees, meetings, and special projects
- Human Resources Management: Supervises clinical staff, manages daily staffing, conducts performance reviews, fosters professional development, and works with Regional Nurse manager on any code of conduct concerns.
- Onboarding & Competency: Oversees onboarding, training, and annual competency validation for clinical staff; promotes mentorship and education
- Professional Accountability: Upholds ANA Code of Ethics, engages in career development, and contributes to the profession through mentorship and presentations

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing
- Current, unrestricted RN license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Proven ability to act cooperatively and collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary team
- Proven solid interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Demonstrated commitment to the principals of collaboration and teamwork
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of demonstrated clinical experience
- Leadership experience
- Experience in a management/leadership role within a nursing collective bargaining environment
- Working knowledge of organizational systems and operations
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $72,800 to $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
