Collects, analyzes, and interprets complex healthcare data to identify trends and provide actionable insights. Supports the development and implementation of data-driven strategies to achieve business objectives.  Key duties include ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and strategic utility of organizational data and designing, developing, and maintaining reports to support healthcare economics.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Data Collection, Management, and Integrity
    • Assist with collection, entry, and processing of datasets from internal and external sources
    • Format and import datasets into data warehouse
    • Conduct ongoing audits and validation to ensure data quality and integrity
    • Maintain and improve data systems, tracking tools, and reporting databases
  • Data Analysis & Reporting
    • Extract, manipulate, interpret and summarize data to answer business questions and support decision making
    • Analyze data from various sources including claims, membership, provider, and utilization data
    • Design and develop analyses and reports that identify trends, outliers, and areas for improvement
    • Convert complex data into compelling narratives that support strategic action
    • Serve as subject matter expert related to internal and external data and reporting
  • Performance Tracking
    • Monitor financial, clinical, and operational performance metrics
    • Identify and resolve discrepancies between internal and external performance reports
    • Develop trends analysis including gaps, opportunities, and data visualizations
    • Collaborate with teams to design actionable and measurable improvements

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare quality, data analysis, and/or population health
  • Proficient in MS Excel and SQL

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PowerBI/Tableau experience
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and procedure codes (ICD-10-CM and CPT)
  • Proven excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and follow tasks through to completion

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $72,800 - $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
