This position is National Remote. You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in Minneapolis, Virginia, Maryland, or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office for a minimum of four (4) days per week.

The Commercial Loan Closing Analyst is responsible for ensuring the smooth and accurate closing of loan transactions and managing the risk through the loan life cycle. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy of loan transactions, maintaining compliance, and managing risk.

This position is full time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work an 8-hour shift between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm MST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. 

This will be on the job training and the hours during training will be during normal business hours, Monday - Friday.  

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Lead a variety of pre-close activities for moderately complex to complex commercial loans, including coordinating all aspects of loan closings and loan modifications
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all required documents
  • Assist with documentation intake and processing
  • Respond to email/phone inquiries from customers, related third parties, lending partners and internal team members regarding loans within the Credit portfolio 
  • Collaborate with other credit areas to have an audit-ready file 
  • Conform to credit operations procedures and knowledge base
  • Assist with other duties (assignments, special projects) as assigned

Required Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma / GED 
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older 
  • 2+ years of experience in commercial lending operations in closing, loan accounting and / OR servicing
  • 2+ years of experience in the banking industry, including knowledge of applicable banking regulations, compliance requirements, and industry standards
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time (domestic) for onsite team meetings and other business-related needs
  • Ability to work full time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work an 8-hour shift between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm MST.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience underwriting, closing OR servicing commercial loans, including commercial real estate loans and commercial and industrial (C&I) loans
  • Completion of a formal commercial loan documentation training program 
  • Experience with LSTA loan documentation
  • Experience with the full life cycle of commercial loans

Telecommuting Requirements:

  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $29.00 - $52.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
