The Content Developer is critical for creating and maintaining custom content and configurations across our suite of portals and applications. The ideal candidate will have strong coding skills and thrive in fast-paced environments, delivering high-quality work on urgent and short-timeline projects.
This position is full-time (40 hours / week), Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST.
This will be on-the-job training and the hours during training will be 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM from Monday - Friday.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement custom content and configurations for UMR web portals and apps
- Code specific designs accurately and efficiently, ensuring alignment with project requirements
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other stakeholders to meet tight deadlines
- Maintain version control and code integrity using GitHub
- Support ongoing enhancements and troubleshooting for existing portal content
- Ensure compliance with UMR standards and best practices

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience
- Must be 18 years of age OR older
- 2+ years of experience coding with HTML and other content development languages (CSS, JavaScript, etc.)
- 2+ years of experience using GitHub for version control and collaboration
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours / week), Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in content development and coding
- Experience with Workfront for project management
- Familiarity with UMR systems and processes
Telecommuting Requirements:
- Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
- Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
- Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
Soft Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure on urgent projects
- Knowledge of responsive design and accessibility standards
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work within tight timelines
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $35.00 - $62.50 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
