About the Mail Service Implementation Team (MIT) team:

Primary functions are to implement clients who have selected, or are adding, home delivery pharmacy (HDP) benefits and assist clients who are terminating Home Delivery Pharmacy and/or Specialty Pharmacy. They work with Implementation teams, assist Specialty team with their clients and CAG Maintenance with open refill transfer files. 

This position is full-time. Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm local time. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends.

We offer on-the-job training. The hours of the training will be 8:00 am - 5:00 pm local time.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Takes ownership of issues and implementation duties. Thinks through issues and finds solutions. Looks at whole picture, not only individual piece of an issue. Ability to make sound decisions. 
  • Contribute to the success of customer implementation through active participation in meetings for new business wins
  • Proactively prepare plan materials such as administrative documents and customer education materials
  • Perform structure building, revisions and billing set up
  • Research installation issues and develop customer specific resolutions
  • Audit contract loads for adherence to quality measures and reporting standards
  • Works within the IRIS system making changes and verifying customer and member information
  • Performs Client terminations - Full Client, partial, member
  • Ability to be proactive 
  • Ability to solve problems, follow defined processes, make decisions and apply them to problem results 
  • Demonstrated ability to be a team member, work well within a team setting
  • Occasional Saturday work.

Required Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma, GED OR equivalent work experience
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older
  • 1+ years of case installation experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Outlook) 
  • Experience working from home 
  • Stable work experience
  • Knowledge of claims processing systems, guidelines and processes
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, edit / create spreadsheet)
  • Computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and mouse and keyboarding skills
  • Ability to work occasional overtime including weekends, nights and holidays as business needs require (New Year's day specifically is a REQUIRED work day with NO exceptions) 
  • Ability to work occasional Saturday shifts for overtime 
  • Available to work 40 hours per week within the operating hours of the department within 8:00 am - 5:00 pm local time

Telecommuting Requirements:

  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy.
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service.

Soft Skills:

  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skill
  • Demonstrated ability to write professional emails

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $23.89 - $42.69 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
