This position requires the employee to assist with operational and marketing patient communications (letters and emails). This position interfaces between creative, technical and all levels of management in a rapidly changing environment. This position provides creative direction in designing and developing products that support business strategies and fills the needs of specific customer groups.

This position is full time (40 hours / week), Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm CST.

This will be on the job training and the hours during training will be 8:00 am - 5:00 pm CST, Monday - Friday.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Copywriting
  • Editing
  • Approval routing
  • Creating engaging content for patient emails and letters to increase patient satisfaction
  • Tracking tasks in a web-based project management platform
  • Tracking reporting metrics
  • Corresponding with stakeholders and leadership
  • Gathering and analyzing data to make decisions on the next steps
  • Using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications to report and exchange data
  • Keeping communications projects on schedule
  • Adhering to applicable external / governmental guidelines and requirements (e.g., legal regulatory)
  • Other duties assigned

Required qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED and equivalent years of work experience
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older
  • 1+ years of Marketing / Communications experience OR a related field experience
  • Previously worked OR is currently working as a contractor placed at UGH or one of its subsidiaries or affiliates
  • Experience with Computers and Windows Based programs including Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Windows, internet browsers, etc.)
  • Ability to work any of our full time (40 hours / week), 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm CST from Monday - Friday

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of professional experience in marketing, communications, OR a related field
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and web-based platforms
  • Working knowledge of AP Style

Telecommuting Requirements:

  • Reside within the state of Texas
  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from  $60,200 - $107,400 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
