This position is National Remote. You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in Minneapolis, Virginia, Maryland, or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office for a minimum of four (4) days per week.

OptumRx helps consumers obtain the medications and products they need to live healthier lives. OptumRx is a leading pharmacy benefit management (PBM) company managing the prescription drug benefit of commercial, Medicare and governmental health plans, as well as those of employers and unions.

The continuous growth and success of our organization has created the need for a individual who will be involved with workflow coordination. This role will provide you with the opportunity to develop valuable skills and knowledge of the immensely complex and rewarding pharma industry. This role will help support the Workflow coordinator position which involves ensuring all incoming work is assigned and tracked.  You will work in a collaborative fast paced environment with team members from across the company to drive better business results.

This position is full time (40 hours / week), Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm local time.

We offer weeks of on-the-job training. The hours of the training will be based on schedule or will be discussed on your first day of employment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Job Function Description
    • The Work Force Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Underwriting team with RFP tracking, and other assigned duties as needed. This position supports the Underwriting team by intaking and triaging RFP requests to underwriters, providing leadership with necessary RFP information, and miscellaneous projects as needed. The Work Force Coordinator will act as a liaison between Underwriting and other teams such as Legal, Implementation, BOM, Proposals, Sales & Client Management.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older
  • 2+ years of administrative office experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook)
  • Ability to work any of our full time (40 hours / week), shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm local time from Monday - Friday

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft Visio and Microsoft SharePoint
  • Experience with ServiceNow
  • PBM experience
  • Organizational skills with ability to be flexible and work with ambiguity

Telecommuting Requirements:

  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $49,700 - $88,800 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
