The Issue Management Senior Analyst will serve as an enterprise risk management professional within the Bank, primarily responsible for supporting issue management governance, enterprise risk reporting, and regulatory finding tracking in accordance with the Bank's enterprise risk management framework. This position will also be responsible for maintaining regulatory inventory of risk related state and federal laws /regulations applicable to product offerings.


The position will coordinate reporting and remediation governance activities, maintain supporting systems and records, and partner with business units, risk stakeholders, and subject matter experts to provide management and committees with timely, consistent information regarding identified issues, corrective actions, management action plans, regulatory examination findings, risk trends, and other significant risk-related matters.


You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week. If qualified candidate lives in the Draper, UT / Salt Lake City, UT area, the position will be hybrid, and the candidate will be required to come to the Draper, UT office 3 days a week.


Primary Responsibilities:

Issue Management and Remediation Governance

  • Coordinate tracking, reporting, and remediation governance activities related to identified issues, corrective actions, management action plans, and regulatory examination findings assigned to the Risk team
  • Maintain Archer and related systems used to support issue management, remediation tracking, regulatory finding monitoring, and management reporting
  • Partner with business units, risk stakeholders, and subject matter experts across the Bank to gather information, validate reporting inputs, and support issue management reporting activities

Regulatory Change Management

  • Oversee governance processes related to identifying, assessing, tracking, and implementing regulatory changes related to Risk Management
  • Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and business stakeholders to evaluate regulatory impacts
  • Monitor implementation activities and validate completion of required actions
  • Maintain regulatory inventory of risk related state and federal laws /regulations applicable to product offerings

Enterprise Risk Reporting 

  • Analyze risk information, metrics, trends, issues, and remediation activities to identify themes, emerging risks, and items requiring follow-up
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance recurring management and committee reporting, including risk profile updates, key risk indicators (KRIs), emerging risk reporting, trend analysis, risk appetite metrics, and issue management reporting
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, presentations, metrics, and remediation tracking materials used to communicate risk information to management and committees

ERM Governance Support

  • Support implementation and ongoing maintenance of the Bank's enterprise risk management framework, policies, governance processes, and reporting practices
  • Support process improvement initiatives related to enterprise risk reporting, governance, and issue management activities
  • Use enterprise-approved AI tools to streamline workflows, automate tasks and drive continuous improvement
  • Evaluate emerging trends to inform solution design and strategic innovation

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise risk management, issue management, governance, audit, compliance, or related control activities within a banking or financial services environment
  • Experience supporting issue management programs, including corrective actions, management action plans, remediation activities, and regulatory examination findings
  • Experience using Archer to support issue management, remediation tracking, regulatory findings, reporting, or other risk management activities
  • Experience developing management, committee, or executive-level reporting
  • Experience analyzing risk information, metrics, trends, and remediation activities to identify themes, emerging risks, and items requiring follow-up
  • Knowledge of banking products, processes, and regulations, including regulatory change management
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • If qualified candidate lives in the Draper, UT / Salt Lake City, UT area, the position will be hybrid, and the candidate will be required to come to the Draper, UT office 3 days a week


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, MIS, or a related field
  • Experience with risk appetite frameworks, KRIs, emerging risk reporting, or enterprise risk management programs
  • Experience developing dashboards, management reporting, committee materials, or governance reporting
  • Experience supporting regulatory examinations, remediation reporting, or corrective action monitoring
  • Experience with Power BI, SQL, or similar reporting and data analysis tools
  • Demonstrated solid project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $72,800 - $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
