The Accounting Manager leads the preparation and review of financial statements and ensures accurate, timely close processes in compliance with U.S. GAAP. This role oversees variance analysis, reconciliations, and audit support while serving as a key liaison to auditors. The position also supports corporate accounting initiatives, cross-functional reporting, and process improvements, and provides leadership to staff while promoting strong internal controls and accountability.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead preparation and analysis of quarterly and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, statements of operation, statements of cash flows, statements of changes in equity, and footnotes
- Perform and oversee quarterly financial statements variance analysis
- Manage month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting analyses in accordance with U.S. GAAP
- Support internal, external, and regulatory audit processes and act as a key point of contact for auditors
- Communicate effectively with business partners, leadership, accounting teams, and auditors
- Review 401k employee benefit plan financial statements
- Support corporate accounting initiatives and provide backup for key accounting activities as needed
- Partner with finance teams on ad hoc reporting, analysis, and process improvement projects

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 busy seasons in public accounting
- Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Suite
- Proven ability to comprehend and apply generally accepted accounting principles, and research and analyze accounting related issues
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Proven ability to manage and develop staff
- Proven ability to build and maintain solid working relationships across the organization
Preferred Qualifications:
- Big 4 experience
- Healthcare experience
- Experience with Hyperion Essbase and PeopleSoft Financials
- Workiva experience
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $91,700 - $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
