The Accounting Supervisor coordinates, oversees, and supervises accounting activities to support accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP. This role owns various accounting tasks, sets priorities, supervises and reviews staff work, and resolves routine operational issues within established policies and procedures.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and supervise daily accounting activities supporting the preparation of financial statements and management reports in accordance with US GAAP
  • Own journal entries, account reconciliations, and close deliverables to ensure timely and accurate month end, quarter end, and year end reporting
  • Prepare and review legal entities and 401k benefit plans financial statements, including related supporting schedules
  • Own the Fixed Assets subledger, including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, reporting, and reconciliation to the general ledger
  • Set priorities and allocate work to meet set objectives and reporting deadlines
  • Review staff work and provide day to day guidance, coaching, and feedback
  • Prepare and review audit documentation and support internal and external audits
  • Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis and identify and resolve accounting issues using established processes and professional judgment
  • Coordinate work activities within the broader team and cross functional accounting teams

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • 4+ of progressive accounting experience
  • Experience reviewing or coordinating the work of others
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel (ex. Pivot tables, vlookups) and Word
  • Proven ability to comprehend and apply generally accepted accounting principles, and research and analyze accounting related issues
  • Proven ability to build and maintain solid working relationships across the organization
  • Proven ability to manage staff, multiple tasks, and projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA
  • Public accounting experience
  • Fixed assets accounting experience
  • Healthcare experience
  • Hyperion Essbase and PeopleSoft Financials experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $72,800 to $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
