This position requires demonstrated, hands-on experience delivering AI-enabled work in production environments, including the ability to engage credibly on solution design, data needs, integration patterns, evaluation considerations, and operational readiness. The role also strengthens front-end delivery by using AI-assisted discovery to accelerate early ideation into clear scope, feature definition, and user story readiness, improving throughput and reducing downstream rework.
Success depends on strong executive communication and practical leadership: the ability to frame opportunities and tradeoffs clearly, align stakeholders quickly, and keep multiple teams moving toward implementation and measurable impact.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Define and communicate AI solution approaches aligned to business objectives, platform strategy, and delivery constraints
- Lead solution optioning and decision support by documenting tradeoffs across value, feasibility, data readiness, integration approach, sequencing, and delivery complexity
- Partner with engineering and data science to translate technical considerations into clear delivery plans, including implementation approach, evaluation strategy, and operational readiness needs
- Drive cross-team implementation by coordinating with multiple product and application teams to integrate AI capabilities into end-to-end product workflows, ensuring consistent execution through release
- Apply AI-assisted methods to accelerate early discovery and definition-moving ideas into implementable features and well-formed user stories with reduced rework
- Produce solution artifacts that enable delivery (solution direction, phased approach, key decisions, and rationale) and support architecture review forums as needed
- Present effectively to varied audiences, from technical working sessions to product leadership and executive stakeholders, focusing on decisions, outcomes, and implications
You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience leading AI-enabled initiatives through implementation and release in partnership with engineering and data science teams
- Proven solid technical fluency in AI solution considerations (data needs, integration patterns, measurement/evaluation, and operationalization) sufficient to guide solutioning and tradeoff discussions
- Proven excellent communication skills, including strong written artifacts, clear facilitation, and the ability to tailor messaging to technical, business, and executive audiences
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently, set direction in ambiguous spaces, and advance work through structured problem framing, sound judgment, and proactive stakeholder engagement
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a software engineering role (or equivalent hands-on engineering background), enabling effective partnership with engineering teams through design and implementation
- Experience delivering solutions within a large enterprise environment (Fortune 500 or similarly complex scale), including cross-team coordination, platform integration, and stakeholder alignment
- Experience applying AI-assisted approaches to accelerate requirements discovery, feature definition, and backlog readiness in real delivery environments
- Familiarity with architecture operating practices such as solution intent development and participation in architecture review processes
- Proven track record of shaping "net-new" ideas into durable, fundable initiatives-bringing a point of view, challenging assumptions constructively, and moving concepts forward through influence and clarity
