As a Data Engineering & Analytics Manager, you will be responsible for developing innovative analytic solutions, creating actionable insights, and driving data perspectives that lead to better decisions, helping the business to achieve its objectives. This will include creating, augmenting, or modifying complex metrics to identify means of tracking data quality, completeness, and trends. The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst does not reside within the Technology area but rather sits inside the business and directly works with operational and client strategy teams, liaising with IT as needed, and being responsible for leading data project activities, assisting in the launch of new programs, conducting team meetings, establishing and maintaining timelines, and communications to all levels of stakeholders.
The Data Engineering & Analytics Manager will be responsible for building and managing a high‑performing analytics team as the company grows, while leveraging data to inform strategy, improve performance, and support decision‑making across the organization.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative analytics solutions and generate actionable insights that inform strategic decision‑making and help the organization achieve its objectives
- Translate complex data into meaningful recommendations by identifying trends, risks, and opportunities that impact business performance
- Partner with operational and business teams on analytics initiatives, process improvement deep dives, and targeted analyses to drive efficiency and performance gains
- Formulate hypotheses, develop queries and analytical models, and evaluate results to support data‑driven process and performance improvements
- Support and advance data governance, stewardship, and data quality workstreams to ensure reliable and trusted analytics
- Apply solid analytical expertise to interpret data, identify trends, and develop strategic recommendations, supporting business decisions and stakeholder priorities
- Demonstrate a goal oriented, resilient mindset; proactively remove barriers, manage dependencies, and track progress to ensure successful execution of analytics initiatives
- Take a hands on, detail oriented approach when required, diving into data and operational processes to uncover insights and drive effective, sustainable change
- Influence senior leaders and stakeholders to adopt data‑informed ideas, approaches, and solutions

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in reporting and analysis, data management, and reconciliation, with 3+ of those years in a corporate setting, working with complex data sets
- 2+ years of experience working with Microsoft Power BI, or other advanced analytical tools such as Oracle Analytics Cloud, Tableau, or ThoughtSpot
- 2+ years of related business analysis and business intelligence development experience, 1+ years of which must be in Healthcare Services and/or Pharmacy Services
- 2+ years of experience soliciting requirements, building business intelligence solutions, quality testing and collaborating with business owners and Data Engineering teams
- 2+ years working knowledge of system development life cycle concepts and Agile methodology
- Experience achieving goals in a matrix environment, working collaboratively to influence others
- Experience developing and delivering formal presentations, including organized visuals, for stakeholders
- Experience translating business processes into analytical solutions
- Experience with SQL
- Experience using an Agile development platform such as Rally or Jira (or similar platform) to manage development backlogs
- Understand data privacy and government regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint, and an ability to easily learn and adopt new technology tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Data architecture experience
- Related experience in healthcare services and/or specialty pharmacy services
- Experience with Pharmacy Operational Data
- Proven self-starter with an engaging leadership style, solid influencing and facilitation skills that will quickly develop relationships across the organization and with clients, while building a collaborative work environment
- Demonstrate analytic thought leadership with skills in developing innovative and creative analytic solutions to complex problems
- Demonstrate client-focused approach with outstanding interpersonal skills, solid business acumen and critical thinking ability
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on being able to logically structure thoughts and create organized visuals for stakeholders
- Demonstrate solid problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate, identify and diagnose problems and make recommendations
- Ability to demonstrate key successes on business solutions derived from analysis and deep learning

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
