We are seeking a Midlevel Full Stack Software Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to the development of secure, scalable web applications that support our cybersecurity products and platforms. 

In this role, you will work across both frontend and backend components, building user interfaces with Vue.js and backend services with Java and Spring Boot. You will collaborate closely with experienced engineers, product managers, security specialists, and DevOps partners while gradually taking ownership of features and technical areas as you grow. 

This position is ideal for an engineer who has solid full stack fundamentals and is eager to deepen their experience in cloud hosted, security focused applications within a collaborative and agile environment.

You will enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of frontend and backend features with guidance from Senior Engineers 
  • Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces that support complex cybersecurity workflows 
  • Assist in developing and maintaining RESTful APIs and backend services using Spring Boot 
  • Work with relational databases and ORM frameworks to support application data needs 
  • Follow secure coding practices and learn to identify common web and API vulnerabilities 
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and issues with support from the team
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to translate requirements into working software

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher) 
  • 2+ years of professional software engineering experience 
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience building user interfaces with Vue.js and modern JavaScript or TypeScript
  • 1+ years of experience with Java and Spring Boot for backend development 
  • 1+ years of experience working with relational databases and basic schema design 
  • 1+ years of experience with RESTful APIs and JSONbased communication
  • 1+ years of experience with any cloud platforms (Azure preferred) through professional experience, projects, or coursework 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience or interest in cybersecurity related products or workflows 
  • Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) 
  • Awareness of secure web development practices and common vulnerabilities 
  • Experience working in an agile environment (Scrum or Kanban) 
  • Exposure to Azure services such as App Service, Azure SQL Database, or Azure Key Vault 
  • Familiarity with frontend design systems or component libraries 
  • Exposure to containerization tools such as Docker 
  • Basic understanding of authentication and authorization concepts (e.g., JWT, OAuth2).
  • Interest in observability concepts such as logging and metrics.
  • Exposure to infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $72,800 to $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
