The Implemenation Manager will be responsible for supporting the successful implementation of new retailers and 3rd party payment integrators joining the S3 retail network. This role will coordinate tasks, manage resources, track progress, and ensure timely project delivery across several projects under the guidance of the Implementation Director.

The Implemenation Manager must be able to manage several projects at one time and manage dependencies both within the project and across similar workstreams across the entire program. This role will need to think creatively and push business objectives forward and remove barriers for the project team. Strong project and program management skills are required to ensure proper alignment across all functional areas.

This role will need to be able to communicate clearly and concisely to project stakeholders. Communications include leading meetings, using e-mail to communicate to internal and external stakeholders, writing status updates, and documenting action items.

The Implementation Manager should be a self-starter and show an ability to problem-solve with limited guidance. This role will need to be viewed as the gatekeeper to the S3 network and the projects being delivered under the program.

The position requires a desire to grow with an expanding team. As part of that growth, the Implementation Manager should be ready to take on new challenges that drive personal and professional growth.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Drive planning, organizing, and executing projects within scope and on time
  • Coordinate tasks between internal/external teams and stakeholders
  • Manage similar projects across the S3 Network program
  • Monitor project progress and provide status updates
  • Identify risks and escalate issues to senior leadership
  • Maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules, agendas, and meeting minutes
  • Use project management tools to track tasks and milestones
  • Translates complex concepts into ways understood by a variety of audiences
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop new ways to solve problems
  • Participate in the development of business strategy
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years project management experience
  • 3+ years leveraging project management tools, such as, MS Project, Smart sheets or other tools
  • 2+ years communicating project status at all levels within an organization
  • 3+ years project planning and risk management experience
  • Advanced to Expert proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of Project Management theories, best practices and procedures
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Project or other project management tools
  • Proven to use existing procedures and facts to solve routine problems or conduct routine analyses
  • Proven to exhibit natural leadership qualities
  • Proven excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple priorities
  • Proven solid written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write error-free, professional proposals and executive summaries for management
  • Proven solid presentation and facilitation skills
  • Proven ability to build and maintain connections

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $112,700    to $193,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
