JOB TITLE: Lead Technical Product Manager
LOCATION: 1 Optum Circle., Eden Prairie, MN 55344 (Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.)
DUTIES: Define and execute product strategy, translating business goals into a clear and achievable product roadmap. Collaborate with engineering, design, clinical research, and cross-functional teams to define detailed technical requirements. Ensure clear, actionable user stories, and acceptance criteria. Establish technical product goals and policies to enhance the Optum match experience and streamline operational efficiencies. Manage technical roadmaps, ensuring alignment with boarder product strategy and goals. Organize and direct multi-departmental project teams to foster collaboration across functions such as the Identity Provider Platforms (HSID/OHID), Analytics team, Design team, and Client Success team. Oversee sprint planning, backlog grooming, and agile workflows to deliver on-time releases. Assign and prioritize tech, migration, database, analytics, and Azure Data Lake Service (ADLS) projects related to Optum match tech product operations, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals and timely completion of initiatives. Lead the product operation for scrum teams, comprising over 10+ engineering resources, overseeing the end-to-end product management lifecycle from conceptualization to deployment and post-launch support. Spearhead initiatives to address performance issues and enhance user satisfaction by improving operational performance metrics. Manage a substantial budget and allocate resources effectively to maximize productivity and achieve financial objectives. Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S. Up to 10% Domestic travel is required.
REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field and eight (8) years of experience in the job offered or in a Technical Product Owner-related occupation.
Experience must include:
* Manage large datasets and performing data analytics using tools like Kafka, Snowflake, Adobe Analytics, and ETL/ELT frameworks;
* NoSQL and SQL databases, with experience in cloud platforms, architecture, and integration with third-party systems;
* Healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR, HL7, and EDI formats;
* Provider dashboard platforms, particularly in eligibility, scheduling, and video visit functionalities;
* Technical product documentation including field-level mapping and data specifications for backend tables to streamline development processes;
* Manage product development cycles including defining the scope, drafting technical requirements, and aligning product strategies with business goals; and
* Agile product development methodologies using tools like Rally, Aha!, JIRA, and Confluence.
* 5 years of Digital experience focused on consumer-facing product delivery in the healthcare or retail industry.
RATE OF PAY: $147,175- $215,838 per year
