Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize machine learning / deep learning models for real world problems
• Perform feature engineering, data preprocessing, and model evaluation
• Improve model accuracy, robustness, explainability, and efficiency
• Stay current with advances in LLMs, RAG, agentic systems, and foundation models
• Build and maintain MLOps pipelines (CI/CD for models)
• Integrate ML models into distributed, cloud native systems
• Collaborate closely with platform and backend engineers
• Identify data gaps and biases. Drive data centric AI improvements
• Ensure models comply with - Privacy regulations, Security standards & Responsible AI principles
• Review designs, code, and models from other engineers
• Raise the overall ML maturity of the team
• Work closely with product managers, domain experts & engineering leaders
• Communicate model tradeoffs and outcomes to non technical stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Management, or related field
• Proven hands-on working exposure to:
  • AI/ML Skills - RAG, LLMs, Embedddings, Model Evaluation, Drift Monitoring, Retrieval Orchestration, Supervised Machine Learning, Predictive Analytics, Vector Indexing, Anomaly Detection
  • Languages & Frameworks - Java, Springboot, Python, FastAPI, SQL, JDBC
  • Data & Analytics - Databricks, MongoAtlas, MySQL, Power BI, High-Volume Data Modeling
  • Cloud & DevOps - Azure, CI/CD, Kafka

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in healthcare - Claims
• Ability to work onsite in MN Office two to four days a week
• Proven ability to identify and unlock actionable insights across big data, streaming, relational
• Proven ability to initiate opportunities; influences stakeholders

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $120,118    to $214,496 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
