JOB TITLE: Senior Data Engineer

LOCATION: 1 Optum Circle, Eden Prairie, MN 55344 (Telecommuting from anywhere in the U.S.)

DUTIES: Design, develop, and implement product features in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders; design reusable frameworks, libraries, APIs and Java components; work closely with the Architecture team and drive technical solutions; lead technology decisions, drive product implementation and delivery; troubleshoot production support issues post-deployment and revolve as required; demonstrate substantial depth of knowledge and experience in RESTful APIs. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S.

REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a Data Engineer-related occupation.  Position requires two (2) years of experience in the following: 
*    Java; 
*    RESTFUL APIs Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker); 
*    Jenkins; 
*    Agile/scrum methodology; 
*    Git/GitHub; 
*    OpenShift; 
*    AWS; 
*    Google Cloud and Azure; 
*    Node.js; 
*    React.js; 
*    TypeScript; and 
*    Python.

RATE OF PAY: $146,268 - $172,242 per year
