Functions may include database architecture, engineering, design, optimization, security, and administration; as well as data modeling, big data development, Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) development, storage engineering, data warehousing, data provisioning and other similar roles. Responsibilities may include Platform-as-a-Service and Cloud solution with a focus on data stores and associated eco systems. Duties may include management of design services, providing sizing and configuration assistance, ensuring strict data quality, and performing needs assessments. Analyzes current business practices, processes and procedures as well as identifying future business opportunities for leveraging data storage and retrieval system capabilities. Manages relationships with software and hardware vendors to understand the potential architectural impact of different vendor strategies and data acquisition. May design schemas, write SQL or other data markup scripting and helps to support development of Analytics and Applications that build on top of data. Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and Develop to Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL/ELT)
- Practice Data Architecture delivery & influence teams towards engineering best practices
- Drive client issues to resolution by identifying the root of the issue, engaging clients for required feedback, escalating to internal team members (if appropriate) and tracking data fixes or enhancements through to successful release into the product
- Write advanced / complex SQL with performance tuning and optimization
- Identify ways to improve data reliability, data integrity, system efficiency and quality
- Work very well with the Product Owner and the other Developers throughout the lifecycle of the project
- Partner closely with delivery teams to implement the design
- Assist in declaring the grain of data in fact tables, identifying metrics and dimensions and understands Slowly Changing Dimensions
- Work closely with Business teams on business initiatives including gathering business requirements from stakeholders and leading implementation of the initiatives
- Ability to create and develop strong working partnerships within the organization
- AI builder: can envision and develop AI solutions. Familiar with AI best practices

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 4+ years of programming knowledge/experience in (reporting code) and of relational databases, data management, data warehouse
- 3+ years of experience in design, analysis, and coding using ETL tools/Cloud tools or Python
- 2+ years of experience in performing significant data analysis and report development
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of healthcare domain knowledge like customer, member, and claims (Medical, Pharmacy & Lab) - preferred
- Experience in development in Python
- Experience in Databases, SQL programming
- Knowledge of data modeling (relationships, data types, tables, etc.); experience and understanding of analytics concepts (queries, reporting, association of data sources)
- Full understanding of testing best practices
- Ability to write code based on technical designs
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions to address complex business challenges with emphasis on responsible use of AI
- Exposure to data technologies such as Snowflake, Scala, Hadoop, Spark, Databricks, Airflow
- Ability to work in global virtual teams
- Good in learning & adopting new technologies, leverage them to execute on the use cases given to solve business problems
- Applies knowledge of principles and techniques to solve technical problems
- Demonstrate technical capability (in writing) clearly to the use case scenarios presented during evaluation. Present multiple options for given problem statement
- Self-starter, have can-do attitude, collaborative and adaptable
- Good communication skills, articulate complex issues understandably and engagingly

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
