We are seeking a highly versatile, full-stack data engineering professional to serve as a strategic enabler and innovation catalyst for our marketing analytics organization. This role goes beyond traditional data engineering-operating as a cross-functional "data engineering SWAT team" to rapidly assess marketing data challenges, architect scalable data solutions, and deliver end-to-end pipelines that power advanced analytics, segmentation, and campaign measurement. The ideal candidate will partner closely with marketing, analytics, and data science teams to transform fragmented data into trusted, production-ready assets that drive measurable business impact.

The ideal candidate is a true "Jack of all trades" across the data lifecycle-equally comfortable designing data models, building ETL pipelines, developing tools, creating dashboards, and performing advanced analytics. They are comfortable working in ambiguous, unstructured environments and proactively identify opportunities to deliver value ahead of formally defined requirements.

If you live near Eden Prairie, MN, you will enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid-remote role as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office for a minimum of four days per week.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Architect and deliver end-to-end analytics solutions spanning data engineering, modeling, visualization, and advanced analysis
  • Translate loosely defined business problems into technical designs and actionable solutions
  • Apply systems thinking to connect data across domains and uncover insights that drive decision-making
  • Serve as internal analytics "SWAT team" for complex, undefined, or emerging business challenges
  • Design and build scalable data pipelines, ETL processes, and automated workflows
  • Develop and maintain data models, databases, and optimized queries
  • Integrate and unify disparate data sources across the analytics ecosystem
  • Build application code and tooling to support analytics workflows and interfaces
  • Rapidly prototype, iterate, and refine solutions in a nimble development environment
  • Design and deliver intuitive Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions
  • Enable self-service analytics and actionable insights for business users
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and prioritize analytics initiatives
  • Translate marketing requirements into scalable data solutions
  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Advocate for marketing data needs during platform implementations to ensure accessibility and integration
  • Operate with high autonomy, ownership, and initiative
  • Adapt quickly to ambiguity, shifting priorities, and evolving business needs
  • Identify inefficiencies and proactively design innovative solutions
  • Apply structured, analytical thinking to solve complex problems

You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear directions on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.

  • 4+ years of experience in development/technical experience preferably in Analytics or data warehousing project environment
